Measure-Five Minute Friday

Another busy weekend, so here I am posting for this week's prompt. How do you measure things and what do you measure?

Measure....

Aren't you thankful for standard units of measurement? Can you imagine what would happen if a crew tried to build a house and each member had their own idea of how to measure the concrete, the tiles or the sheet rock?

I don't know if the house would ever get finished or be able to stand.

"How can two walk together, unless they be agreed?" (Amos 3:3)

How can we build something to last unless there are standards that stick and everyone agrees and adheres to?

How did our world get so messed up? I am thinking everyone has their own ideas.

STOP

Isaiah 40:8 "The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever." (NASB)

  1. I never considered how messed up things might be if there weren't standards for measurements. Thanks for sharing, now I too am grateful for standard measurements! FMF #54 this week
