Expect-Five Minute Friday

Our new prompt this week is .........Expect

Each day something

unexpected happens

Perhaps it's a bright goldfinch or

red cardinal

darting across the road as you're driving

to or from work

Perhaps a person you haven't seen in

quite sometime

Perhaps being reunited with family members

you haven't seen in umpteen years because

of somebody else's feud in the family

Some are little, some are BIG things

BUT

then there are the expectations we have when someone

                            let's us

down

They don't follow through,

               instead

they

           drop

 the ball

and everything we expected becomes

                darkened, tarnished

And we are hurt because our expectations

were

               b-r-o-k-e-n

Expect

                                                                       the

unexpected

STOP

  4. wise words from someone a long time ago. Don't place expections on anyone or thing then disappointment will not happen and you will be surprised

  5. Hello Leigh. I am a Pastor from Mumbai, India. I am blessed and feel privileged and honored to get connected with you as well as know you through your profile on the blogger and the blog post. Your post on Expect the Unexpected is so true in the practical life. When you start the day with this premise you are prepared for good or dis appointing incidents. I love getting connected with the people of God around the globe to be encouraged, strengthened and praying for one another. I have been in the Pastoral ministry for last 37 yrs in this great city of Mumbai a city with a great contrast where richest of rich and the poorest of poor live. We reach out to the poorest of poor with the love of Christ to bring healing to the brokenhearted. We also encourage young and the adults from the west to come to MUMBAI to work with us during their vacation time. We would love to have you come to Mumbai with your friends to work with us during your vacation time. I am sure you will have a life changing experience. LOOKING FORWARD TO HEAR FROM YOU VERY SOON.
