Tired-Five Minute Friday on Sunday evening

We survived the back to back winter storms and changed the clocks to spring forward. It has been a whirlwind of a weekend. I know all of us reach a point where we are living in the state of this week's prompt.

tired.........

Winter wears

wears one out

cold, frigid air

same old, same old

day in, day out

Brilliance and novelty of

the first, bright, white snow

fades fast

Mixed with dirt, gravel, sand

it's gray and bland

Life gets that way

In the afternoon season of

one's journey and soul

Going round and round

hard to see anything

new or different

Look for little signs

The buds will come

ladybugs fly again

color returns

Winter wears,

but spring surely comes

Is it any wonder we celebrate

new life of Christ now this month

STOP

Song of Solomon 2:11 "For behold, the winter is past, The rain is over and gone." (NASB)
