Rain-Five Minute Friday

What a relief to have finally gotten some of this after blistering temps in the 90's! Some long for it, while others wish they could send it another way. In five minutes I just listed what came to mind. Enjoy the read.

Rain is......

cool, falling, down, down

splashing here, there, all around

on my head and eyelashes

rose petals, blades of grass

washing cars, watering earth

rain is refreshing, pure, and clean

quenching thirst

unexpected, anytime

north or south, hills or valleys

made of hydrogen and oxygen combined

rain is a good thing

God's gift to a dry and weary land

filling rivers, healing places

God send your rain!

STOP

Leviticus 26:4 "then I shall give you rains in their season, so that the land will yield its produce and the trees of the field will bear their fruit," (NASB)
