Inspire-Five Minute Friday

Mmm. What inspires me? Had to think on that one for a bit. I'm anxious to read what others have posted this week in response to our new prompt. Here is what I came up with for this week.

Let it permeate all senses
Butterflies in one's stomach
Adrenalin rushes
Urge leads to action

Could be the warmth of someone's kindness
that says. "Pay it forward."

Could be dazzling colors and textures in a garden
saying, "Listen closely, watch, and then do."

Could be soldiers who carry on day after day
no matter how challenging or monotonous

Could be the blind student who's happy and
not afraid to try anything new

Maybe it's all of these moments and glimpses
into how we can create and be the best we can be

Live. Give. Love.

  1. Beautiful post, Leigh...and yes, it's all about being the best we can be.

BTW, if you'd care to send me a request on FB (I'm listed as Andrew Budek, as there weren't enough characters for the full name) I'd be thrilled!

    #1 at FMF this week.

  2. Hi Leigh! So nice to visit here! I'm your neighbour in FMF #78. I so enjoyed your post and poetry. You're right, there are so many reasons to be inspired—we really should learn from each other.

Loved this: "Maybe it's all of these moments and glimpses into how we can create and be the best we can be." So true.

    Have a great week!

  3. This is really nice. The range of things and experiences that can inspire and motivate us is endless!
