Visit-Five Minute Friday

I responded to this week's prompt yesterday, but only now have I had an opportunity to post. Thus I have already visited with a few different people. I hope this Memorial Day you are enjoying time with your loved ones. The time certainly does fly by. Here's what I came up with yesterday.

visit......

I always look forward to visiting with friends and/or family. I especially love sharing a meal and a game with them. Later today I'll visit with my dear friend, Ida. She's 96, but still pretty sharp.

Next month the doctor visits begin for routine check-ups. Although I don't like being poked and prodded, I'm so thankful for their service and care.

However, there's one very special place filled with dear ones I'd love to visit and can't. In a dream I had years ago, my late Dad, Guy, described it to me. I asked him if he wanted to come back here or missed being in heaven and you guessed it. He said he missed being there. When I asked him what it was like he replied, "it's a very rich place and very bright."

STOP

Revelation 1:14-15"His head and His hair were white like white wool, like snow; and His eyes were like a flame of fire. His feet were like burnished bronze, when it has been made to glow in a furnace, and His voice was like the sound of many waters." (NASB)

This is the last week we will be at this link www.katemotaung.com, so check out what others are posting. After this, we are moving to www.fiveminutefriday.com

  2. I so love visiting with people! Your post reminds me of a woman my husband and I worked with many years ago. She was 105 when she died. She was so fascinating to talk too. Heaven will be so grand!!! I'm behind you at Kate's this week.

  3. Hi Leigh,
Great to meet you. I am number 19 on FMF. Visiting friends, even visiting doctors brings us in contact with others. It's always an opportunity to share God's love.
    Blessings
