NEVER CALLED THE POLICE!
YES! You read that correctly. For several months in the paper, the gruesome details of how a two year old named Mason was tortured and and then died over a course of a few days was most shocking. The mother left her two year old in the care of her heroin addict boyfriend and never took him to a doctor or hospital, when she knew something was wrong with the way he looked and was behaving.
WHY NOT? She feared more for herself and CPS's involvement.
Mason is gone.
The boyfriend sentenced to 25 years to life.
Mom limited to supervised visits with her other son.
The neighbor? Faced with knowing and living with all of these atrocious details.
RISE!
RISE UP PEOPLE!

ReplyDeleteOH that is so sad. I would love to say that I wouldn't do the same thing, but it's hard to make that judgement call you know? It's hard to know what is right and what isn't. That's why we need to follow the Lord's promptings in our actions. He inspires our actions. And so we rise up for him. :)
