Here- FMF late on Monday

It was a busy weekend and so I found myself here on Monday posting for last Friday's prompt-"Here".  May it challenge all of us to take in and savor what we have been graciously given to enjoy.

Here

Here in this place there is beauty

Brightly colored lilies and bushes cry out

Bumblebees buzz while collecting

Green grass generously covers earth

There in that place there was conflict

Sun beat down, people bustled to and fro

Here, there or anywhere they can stew 

Venting frustrations about this or that

Yet the birds of the air bask, flowers bloom

Vegetation flourishes and bees remain focused

While water washes over everything with waves
