How much time is spent in the phase of preparation and how much enjoying the actual event? If our journey through life on earth is meant to prepare us for eternity in heaven, it seems all of our life as we know it, is spent readying ourselves. Yet eternity is such an abstract concept, not one we can fully comprehend. I would rather spend all of my time enjoying the final event, but preparation is always necessary.
